18906399270Glypican-3 (GPC3) is a heparan sulfate PG (HSPG) expressed on cell surface via a glycosylphosphatidylinositol anchor, which is composed of a core protein and two HS side chains. GPC3 is overexpressed in tumor tissue (80%) and serum (60%) of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), but not expressed in liver tissue and serum of normal person and patients with benign liver diseases. At present, GPC3 is recognized as a more specific and sensitive marker than α-alpha-fetoprotein for HCC and its application potential have been widely evaluated in clinical diagnosis and targeted therapy research of HCC. Anti-GPC3 monoclonal antibodies are widely used in ELISA, Western Blot (WB), immune cell/tissue staining and other analyses of GPC3. However, since mature GPC3 contains highly negatively charged HS side chains, it is difficult to prepare high affinity monoclonal antibodies that can recognize GPC3 molecules with HS side chains. Our anti-GPC3 antibody is one of the rare mouse monoclonal antibodies that can recognize glycosylated and non-glycosylated GPC3 with high affinity. It can be applied to the detection of GPC3 at various levels including molecules, cells and tissues, and is suitable for various analyzes such as ELISA, ICC/IF, Flow Cyt, WB, IHC-P, etc.
